Hike to Mount Armaghan and the Star Map of the Black Mountain
Day 1: Hike to Mount Armaghan
The volcanic peak of Armaghan is located on the Argitchi plateau, at an altitude of 2828 meters above sea level. From the top, a picturesque pond and an indescribable view of the Gegharkunik region and Lake Sevan open up.

Program of the day:

Morning: A short introduction to horses and horse riding rules. The hike to Mount Armaghan begins at an altitude of 2,100 meters. The climb takes from 1.5 to 2 hours.
At the top: After the horses have rested, guests will be introduced to the legend of Mount Armaghan. Considering that it is already morning, lunch will be offered in the open air with pre-prepared buns.
Daytime: An opportunity to take photos, walk and admire the views from the top. In about an hour, the descent back along the same road is planned.
Evening: In Vagasheni, we will be met by an SUV with the guests’ personal belongings, sleeping bags and dinner. Dinner, and then an opportunity to walk around the yacht’s territory and end the evening by the fire.

Day 2: Hike to the Black Mountain Star Map
The Black Mountain Star Map is located on the Argitchi plateau, on one of the western slopes of the Vardenis Range, at the foot of the Black Mountain, at an altitude of 2666 meters. Its age is estimated at 5000-7000 years, and it is associated with the ancient Armenian calendar and the origin of the zodiac.

Program of the day:

Morning: Wake up around 9:00. An SUV will deliver breakfast and lunch. After breakfast, we head towards the star map of the Black Mountain.
Afternoon: The climb along winding roads, alpine meadows and colorful vegetation takes about 1-1.2 hours. At the top, a little lower, the horses are given a rest, then guests will get acquainted with the history of the monument. Opportunity to walk, take photos and enjoy the views.
Afternoon: Lunch in the fresh air. Then descent into one of the gorges of the Vardenis Range. An SUV will deliver guests’ personal belongings, sleeping bags and dinner, including beech pilaf, bread, salads, fruits and cheese.
Evening: Dinner in the fresh air and a campfire.

Day 3: Visit to the Orbeli caravanserai
Program of the day:

Morning: Wake up around 9:00, breakfast. Pack up and saddle up the horses.
Afternoon: Hike south to Orbeli Caravanserai. Arrive around 12:00. Learn about the history of the caravanserai and enjoy the views.
Afternoon: Meet the guest car at Orbeli Caravanserai. Say goodbye to the guests.

Summit: 2700 meters
Return: 2200 meters
Distance covered: about 30 km

The fee for one day per person is 90,000 drams, which includes horse rental, three meals a day, guided tour on horseback, off-road vehicle services, transfer to Yerevan at the beginning and end of the hike, 2-3-person tents, sleeping bag is not provided.
