Day 1:
In the morning we meet guests in the city of Martuni, then go to the horse house, where we introduce them to the horses. After familiarizing ourselves with the simplest rules of communication with horses and placing personal belongings, sleeping bags, tents and other essentials, accompanied by an SUV, we go through the forest to the shore of the lake to the old airport. After crossing the Martuni-Vardenis highway, we head deep into the Vardenis mountain range. We will arrive in an area called Prudy, where we will meet with an SUV that accompanies us. After setting up camp and caring for the horses, dinner awaits us. On this day, we will walk 11-12 km, starting at an altitude of 1930 meters and ending at an altitude of 2600 meters.

Day 2:
We wake up at about 8:30 a.m., feed and water the horses, and have breakfast at 9:00 a.m. We pack up the camp, saddle the horses, and head to one of the highest peaks of the Vardenis Range — Astoghnk Peak, where the St. Hovhannes Sanctuary is located. We plan to be at the summit by about 2:00 p.m., where we will have buns for lunch, rest, take photos, and enjoy the beauty of the highlands. After resting, we head deeper into the gorge. On this day, we will start at an altitude of 2,600 meters, climb to 3,470 meters, and then descend to 2,300 meters. We will walk about 13 km.
