Khor Virap is our first destination. This is a holy place where the great Apostle Gregory the Illuminator spent many years in captivity. You will be able to climb the hill from where you can enjoy a majestic view of the sacred Mount Ararat and the surrounding landscapes.
Then we will go to Areni – a village known for its winemaking traditions and unique wines. Here you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Armenian winemaking, visit local wineries and taste exquisite wines created since ancient times with love and skill.
Our next journey will take us to Noravank , a unique monastery perfectly set in the beautiful landscape of red rocks. Here you will plunge into the atmosphere of antiquity and peace, enjoying the view of the majestic architectural structures.
And last but not least important point on our route is Shaki waterfall . Having gone deep into nature, you will find yourself in front of the majestic spectacle of a waterfall, which amazes with its beauty and power.
After a busy day, we will return to Goris to relax and share our impressions of what we saw.

Cable car “Wings of Tatev”: soaring over Syunik
“Wings of Tatev” is not just a cable car, but a unique engineering project leading to the natural and historical treasures of Syunik , in the south of Armenia. It is the longest reversible cable car in the world (5.7 km), for which it is listed in the Guinness Book of Records .
Built in just 10 months, it became the shortest, most picturesque and breathtaking route to Tatev Monastery , a pearl of medieval architecture.
The purpose of creating a cable car:
- Make Tatev Monastery more accessible: Before the construction of the road, it was difficult to reach, which limited the number of tourists and prevented its recognition as a world cultural heritage.
- Regional development: The cable car has stimulated infrastructure growth in Syunik, creating new jobs and business opportunities.
