Tour Description

Our dear travelers, welcome to an exciting journey through the majestic sights of Armenia Garni and Geghard, which are shrouded in legends and historical secrets.

Our first adventure will begin with a visit to the Arch of Ararat, or Arch of Charents, which received its name in honor of the great Armenian poet and patriot Yeghishe Charents. On the arch itself there is engraved a line from his poem: “There are no whiter peaks than Ararat in the world, like the glory of an inaccessible path I love my Mount Masis.”
Then we will head to the jewels of our tour: the amazing Armenian pagan temple of Garni, which amazes with its majestic beauty and atmosphere of spirituality. This unique temple with Greek columns is a true architectural marvel and is a shining symbol of ancient pre-Christian Armenia, the only one of its kind not only in Armenia, but also in the former Soviet Union.

We will then head to the Geghard Monastery, partly carved into the rock, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, spirituality and nature merge together, and legends protect this sacred corner. The Geghard Monastery is a truly magnificent creation of human hands. The name “Geghard” comes from the Armenian word meaning “spears”, which reminds us of the legendary spear of Longinus that pierced Christ and is known as the “spear of Destiny”. It was here, in the Geghard monastery, that this sacred weapon was previously kept, and today it is in the museum of the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church – Holy Etchmiadzin.

An equally exciting moment of our trip will be a visit to the Azat River gorge, famous for its “Symphony of Stones” – massive basalt columns, as if created by the hands of higher powers. These natural pillars, almost 50 meters high, personify the grandeur and harmony of nature. These natural pillars are like parts of a giant musical instrument.

Each stop on our way is imbued with history, myths and legends, which give these places a special magic and mystery.

The tour price includes tickets to the Garni Temple and the Symphony of Stones. We also invite you to enjoy a gourmet lunch, which we will be happy to help you select and plan.

We invite you to plunge into the world of amazing landscapes, spiritual heritage and unique atmosphere of ancient Armenia with us.
